How can Freud's method for dream interpretation not be in contradiction with Jung's?

Freud viewed most dreams as sexual in nature. Suppressed sexuality to be exact. Jung did not. But he did agree with Freud that the content of dreams was cloaked in symbols, and that the dreamer needed to focus on the symbol until the meaning became clear.
