National Guard rank vs ROTC rank?

I am a E-3 in the National Guard right now. I leave for 11B OSUT in August and I will join the ROTC program at a nearby college in January. I will be a sophomore then. I was just wondering how my National Guard rank would be affected by ROTC if at all. I know that I would be a cadet in the ROTC program, but could I still rank up and the Guard. I'm just a little confused about how my rank would be affected by ROTC if at all. Thanks for the info
